Meet Stephanie Berchiolly
I still have no idea who Robyn Peterman is. Have we met? Am I being gaslighted into writing a book for some complete rando whose books I happened to have read and created a spell for specifically so I could write in her universe? Did I suddenly wake up and see that I had written 17 emails begging for the chance?
Hmmm, I guess we’ll never know.
Strokes her new squirrel bestie as she waves at Robyn from her secret hiding spot in a tree overlooking her office.
Honestly, with my ADHD-perimenopause brain, reality and book plots have merged into one glorious, confusing soup. (Plus hot flashes for bonus points.) All I know for certain is that when I found out I’d get to write in Robyn’s Magic & Mayhem Universe, I may have screamed loud enough to summon my future chicken army. (They’re not here yet, but I’ve got 3 brooders, an incubator, and pretty much everything but the coop. I’m manifesting with a shopping addiction, m’kay?)
I’m a USA Today Bestselling Author who fell ass-backward from screenwriting into paranormal romance. I hoard crafting supplies like Gollum’s more litigious cousin (my precioussss yarn collection), grind my own wheat because the apocalypse waits for no one, and I make a mean sourdough. (Sometimes he makes me cry.)
I live in pajamas, believe pants are a tool of oppression (except during yoga, where I pretend to be demure and mindful while really just trying not to fart), and take full credit for keeping my partner, Rick on his toes through strategic jump scares. I run on coffee, but will throat-punch anyone who breathes coffee breath on me. Yes, I recognize the irony, no, I don’t care.
As a Black woman with dwarfism, I write stories full of snark, chaos, and characters who don’t fit in neat little boxes…because honestly, who has time for boxes when life’s so much more fun after making a series of very questionable decisions?
Fair warning: I take no responsibility for any side effects that ensue from reading my books. That’s between you and your therapist.
